Students involved in classroom activities and school events are from time to time photographed or videotaped by the District, including, but not limited to, the District Office of Communication Services, or by outside media outlets (radio, television, newspapers, internet, or other forms of media). In addition, the District or a school may want to post articles, videos or photographs on District or school websites, on other media sources, including on the internet, or on social media, etc. Permission to do so may be granted to the District or to outside media outlets only with parental approval for students under 18 years of age.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must annually complete the designated form (which is a part of the required annual student registration through the District's student information system) indicating whether the parent(s)/guardian(s) approve of photographs, videos, and/or electronic images of their student being published by the District, or by outside media outlets.
