During the time the school is responsible for supervision of students, the principal will be responsible for providing direct supervision.
Students should not be on the playgrounds at any time without supervision by district employees. The organization for supervision of the playgrounds should be in terms of local school needs. However, it is desirable that primary and intermediate units have separate, planned supervision.
During all contact hours that a teacher is on district property and is performing services on behalf of the school district and while performing such services at school-sponsored activities off district property, the teacher shall be responsible for the control of all students that fall within his assigned supervision and to other students physically in his presence.
