When a custodian finds that his building has been broken into, he is to call the custodial-maintenance foreman and notify the head custodian of the building who in turn will notify the principal.
The custodial-maintenance foreman is responsible for contacting the police department. He also will give an estimate of damage and possible loss to the Superintendent or his designee.

School and Personal Property Replacement/Restitution
Students should not bring personal property to school unless requested to do so by the teacher with the approval of the principal.
Personal property should be properly marked.
It is the responsibility of the school to go as far as possible in providing adequate safeguards for all students' belongings, but once having done this the school district cannot be held responsible for loss.
