Eligibility
- Sixty years of age or older,
- Homeowner or current spouse of homeowner,
- Resident of the Cherry Creek School District,
- Owner of the property for which taxes are paid.
- Will be allotted to each of the District's locations,
- Will be determined by needs at individual sites,
- May be available in classrooms, offices, libraries, clinics, lunchrooms and playgrounds.
- One salary rate per hour which shall be applicable to each of the jobs, This salary rate shall be approved by the Superintendent, or his designee. The salary rate may be changed if found to be necessary considering the budgeted amount available for this program; however, the salary rate will not be less than $6.18 per hour.
- Successful applicants will be allowed to work a maximum of the number of hours needed to meet the estimated average increase in property taxes caused by the most recent bond election,
- One check issued to offset taxes when job assignment is completed.
